What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deckhand position at Delray Yacht Cruises?
Delray Yacht Cruises is year-round sightseeing cruise and yacht charter company that is located in Delray Beach, FL. We offer daily sightseeing cruises, sunset cruises & private charters for corporate & social events aboard our 105 ft. triple decker yacht. All of our cruises stay in the Intracoastal Waterway. The Deckhand is our Captains eyes & ears while cruises are underway and play a vital role in our day-to-day operations.
General Duties of the Deckhand:
- Assist with the rigging and maintenance of the vessel
- Handle lines and assist with docking and undocking procedures
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on the deck
- Assist with the loading and unloading of supplies
- Monitor equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the captain or engineer
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort
Salary : $14 - $15
