We are searching for a strong-nerved person to manage our equipment and operations on oil and gas workover rigs. As a rig hand, you will need to safely complete tasks and operations as the onsite supervisor instructs. You will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining machinery, which includes operating derricks, driving trucks, rigging, handling tubing, and other equipment onsite. The ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the oilfield and previous oilfield experience is preferred, but we are willing to give you onsite training and experience after our safety training course.
Responsibilities:
- Rig and operate hydraulic fracturing pumps and hydraulic control units.
- Set up and operate hydraulic power units according to specifications.
- Monitor and adjust well stimulation pressure, rate, and volume.
- Operate equipment that controls liquid flow into the well and out of the well.
- Provide technical assistance to other staff members under minimal supervision.
- The ability to lift 50lbs or more.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
