Delsea Regional Middle School is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher in 7th Grade Career and Technology. This position includes guiding students through a structured curriculum focusing on career skills, concepts in technology, and project-based learning opportunities.
Position Duration: Approximately March 14, 2025 through June 17th 2025
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver age-appropriate lessons related to our Career and Technology 7th grade curriculum focusing on technology skills and problem-solving.
- Follow and implement the lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher and adapt as needed.
- Facilitate classroom learning experiences.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment which promotes respectful interactions.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain classroom routines including attendance, classroom management and adherence to school policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education, technology, career education or a related field.
- NJ Teacher certification in science or STEM education.
- Middle school teaching experience preferred.
