Delsea Regional High School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Head Cheerleading Coach for the Fall and Winter season. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and developing the cheerleading team, leading practice sessions, and fostering school spirit at athletic events. This position requires a strong leadership presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement training plans for the cheerleading team

Lead practices and ensure athletes are prepared for games, pep rallies, and competitions

Attend all scheduled games and events

Work closely with athletic staff and school administration to support team and school activities

Foster teamwork, discipline, and a positive atmosphere

Ensure safety standards and proper cheerleading techniques are followed

Maintain good communication with students, parents, and school staff
Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience in cheerleading or a related field preferred

Strong knowledge of cheerleading skills, routines, and safety protocols

Ability to motivate and engage high school athletes

Strong organizational and communication skills

Certification in CPR/First Aid preferred
