Bookkeeper (Construction/ HVAC)
Location: Burbank, CA
Pay rate: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our Client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with a minimum of two years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ideal candidate has experience with Sage 100 (Sage Intacct Construction). Experience in the construction industry is a plus. What You’ll Do:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and reconcile bank statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Work closely with project managers and other departments to track job costs.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform other administrative accounting duties as needed.
About You:
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting, Required
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, Required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Required
- Sage 100 (Sage Intacct Construction) experience, desired
- Experience in the HVAC/Construction Management industry, desired.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in the office every day (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break).
- Knowledge of the construction industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
