Job Title: Fire Protection Engineer
Location: South Windsor, CT
Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000

What You'll Do:
- Determine design criteria for various design/build and plan/spec projects.
- Assist the design team utilizing AutoSprink software.
- Mentor and train the existing design team.
- Interface with clients and other construction professionals.
- Coordinate with project managers and field personnel to effectively implement company procedures.
About You:
- Minimum of 5 years of fire protection design experience, required
- Current P.E. license, required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check, required
- Experienced in BIM coordination with the ability to coordinate, plan, and supervise.
- Proficient in CAD and Revit design software, with the ability to perform hydraulic calculations.
- Skilled in coordinating plans and specifications with field installers to clarify and incorporate required changes.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable NFPA standards, UFC 3-600-01 (8/2016, Change 5, 9/24/20).
- Proficient in AutoSprink, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office software.
- Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of fire protection design experience.
- Current P.E. license.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
