What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital User Experience (UX) Writer position at Delta Air Lines, Inc.?
The Delta Air Lines Digital team is seeking an experienced User Experience (UX) Writer who can help us connect with our customers through multiple channels. In this role, you will be responsible for writing various types of content for delta.com and the Fly Delta app, including both long and short form copy. As a UX Writer, you will craft language that is clear, concise, easy to understand and complements the user experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and exercising an ability to understand and convey the tone and voice of our brand. We are focused on providing a best-in-class customer experience, and you will have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal. We work in a fast-paced environment that occasionally requires quick turnarounds, so flexibility is critical for success in this position.
You will be part of our Digital Copywriting team where you will work closely with Digital Product Owners, Digital Strategy, Legal and other stakeholders throughout Delta.
Responsibilities:
· Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into informative copy concepts.
· Write and/or review raw copy and edit it to fit strict copywriting guidelines, applying a Digital first mindset.
· Create content to help a user complete a task through directions and error messaging; provide valuable information so customers can fully understand all options prior to making a decision.
· Comprehend and explain technical policies and products; apply conceptual thinking.
· Responsible for ensuring that all content on Delta’s digital channels follows the brand tone, is clear and simple for customers and removes friction from the experience.
· Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders.
