As a Radio Operator for Delta Air Lines, you will be the first point of contact for Pilots and Flight Control using Radio, Telephone, and Satellite communications aiding Delta’s Operations. Conversations will be transcribed by you into flight history. Operators also work to maintain a network of over 170 radio sites. Operators may be called to assist in training other team members both new and recurrent. This is an Operations position that is shift work covering 24/7, weekends and holidays.

Internal Movement Eligibility
- Must be in good standing in current position (no formal performance development – Written Coaching Letter, Corrective Action Notice, or Final Corrective Action notice - within the past 6 months).
- Has not transferred in the past six months from current department in current station. This requirement can be waived for promotional opportunities such as SA to CSA/CXA or CSA/CXA to Specialty CSA/CXA.
- Must be in current role for at least 1 year if transferring from outside of the ACS/CGO/Clean/GSE division.
- Currently on active status, however, if you are on an inactive status, you may be eligible to transfer if you are returned to active status prior to the transfer date.
- Must successfully pass all pre-employment and assessment requirements if applicable.
- If you recently accepted an offer within ACS/CGO/Clean/GSE division and retracted it after 72 hours of acceptance, you are required to wait 6 months to be eligible for a new role.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency
- Type 45 wpm or higher
- Able to use a headset for transmitting and receiving audio clearly in English
- Remain at a desk for extended periods of time
- Be available for shifts 24/7, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility to take on Special projects and additional duties assigned by Management as required for Daily Operations
- Experience with call intake.
- Superior Customer Service skills.
- Self-Starter, able to find creative solutions.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize their sequence of importance.
- Illustrate a “want to” attitude, with the drive to be a proactive self-starter to identify new and innovative ways to handle responsibilities and think outside of the box.
