HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
Provide recruiting and staffing support for the Delta Vacations Customer Engagement Center, including internal and external hiring, evaluation of candidates and delivery of new hire orientation.
Position location is onsite at Delta Vacations Customer Engagement Center in Minot, North Dakota.
Full-Time Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend may be required as job duties demand.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
- Actively participate in the staffing and hiring process for the Reservations Department including, but not limited to, collaborating with leadership on the development of an annual recruitment plan that supports staffing needs.
- Coordinate the hiring process including, but not limited to, scheduling and conducting interviews, applicant tracking and follow-up, assembly of interview packets, delivery of pre-employment informational sessions, coordination of equipment shipment for work from home hires and preparation of new hire orientation materials.
- Act as liaison with Delta Talent Acquisition team to support the hiring process for the Customer Engagement Center.
- Ensure staffing resources have a clear understanding of their assigned staffing responsibilities and how these relate to Delta Vacations business strategies and needs.
- Conduct the onboarding and off-boarding process for Customer Engagement Center employees.
- Represent Delta Vacations at external job fairs and on-site hiring events.
- Identify and deliver a variety of recruitment channels, including, but not limited to: social media, radio, job service boards and other local resources.
- Coordinate the administration of Delta ID badges for Customer Engagement Center employees.
- Support the internal hiring process, including, but not limited to, routing job requisitions, prepare and send casting calls, coordinate interviews with hiring manager and communicate job changes to the appropriate team members.
- Regularly evaluate and analyze sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection processes and recommend areas for improvement.
- Take actions necessary to remain up to date on trends and changes in employment law.
- Maintain appropriate department files and logs.
- Align with departmental privacy and security policies/procedures and applicable federal, state, and local laws, including HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Workers’ Compensation and the Internal Revenue Code.
- Generate, reconcile and distribute reports pertaining to assigned responsibilities.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may include cross-utilization within the department or with other departments.
- Conduct guided tours for community groups and job applicants.
- Provide back-up to the Training Department with vendor presentations and informative opportunities.
- Attend and participate in training and meetings that pertain to assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 3 years Recruiter or Human Resources Generalist experience required
- Strong knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations affecting Human Resources including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, HIPPA and EEO compliance required
- Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Ability to work independently, with little supervision
- Ability to prioritize and successfully handle multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Must have the ability to work independently and possess strong organizational, customer service, problem solving and proofreading skills
- Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate to management, staff and customers and demonstrate sound judgment/reasoning skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
