What are the responsibilities and job description for the DMS Lead Supply Attendant position at Delta Airlines?
HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
The DMS Lead Supply attendant- International Trade Compliance will help coordinate international and domestic shipping.
- Coordinate projects involving logistics movements of parts by truck, air, and ocean.
- Perform shipment reconciliations.
- The ability to be extremely organized, detail oriented, solve problems and be a self-starter.
- Ability to properly classify products with HTS and ECCN.
- Screen business partners and visitors.
- Prepare shipping packets and complete all required paperwork for internal and external compliance (BOLs, labels, pick tickets and checklists).
- Ship goods and verify items against import/export requirements, where applicable
- Coordinate with transportation companies to plan, schedule and manage import and export shipments.
- Any other duties assigned as determined by the Director of Quality or Global Transportation Program Manager.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal, written & organization skills.
- Ability to work under fast paced environment and prioritize objectives.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and the ability to work expeditiously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week, mainly, M-F dayshift operations with evenings and weekends as needed.
- Possess strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
- The position requires use of SAP, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, SNAP-R, ACE and screening tools.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Materials Management, Trade Compliance Certification, or related field.
- Prior experience with import & export clearance procedures, & dangerous goods preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Knowledge of SAP preferred.
