This role works on an "as needed" basis, this is a part-time position.
The part time Flights Operations Support role provides support to key projects and needs inside of Delta Air Lines Flight Training & Standards and Delta Professional Services (DPS). This role works on an ‘as needed’ basis for the area assigned. Flight Ops Support candidate should have a basic understanding and knowledge of FAA Part 121 air carrier operations and moderate to expert knowledge of specific areas of focus.
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive FOS - Flight Acceptance Scheduler to join our team and ensure the smooth coordination of flight operations.
Job Summary: The Flight Acceptance Scheduler will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the acceptance of flights, ensuring that all operational requirements are met. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the acceptance of incoming and outgoing flights, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Communicate with various departments, including flight operations, maintenance, and ground services, to ensure all necessary preparations are completed.
- Monitor flight schedules and adjust plans as needed to accommodate changes in weather, aircraft availability, and other operational factors.
- Maintain accurate records of flight acceptance activities and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Collaborate with flight crews and ground staff to ensure timely and efficient turnaround of aircraft.
- Assist in the development and implementation of scheduling tools and software to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations in all scheduling activities.

- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
