Description

1. Courteously and promptly greet customers, determine needs, and handle customer requests or direct to appropriate personnel.
2. Answer telephone using excellent customer service telephone skills,
3. Log Cashiers Checks to BAM as needed.
4. Retrieve daily reports and distribute to officers in a timely manner.
5. Perform daily overdraft report processing for branch.
6. Daily mail retrieval and processing.
7. Open and service deposit accounts. Handle customer inquiries and other customer services as needed (example: wire transfers, account transfers, service charges, ordering checks, etc.)
8. Serve as paying and receiving teller - Receive deposits and loan payments, cash checks and ensure that all transactions are properly processed through Horizon Teller.
9. Back up loan assistant as needed

1. Frontline liaison with customers needing to see a bank officer
2. Work with branch loan assistant in scheduling daily appointments with branch officers
3. Assist customers with consumer loan applications and obtaining credit reports and other loan-related functions when loan assistant is not available

10. Branch Administrative Responsibilities

1. Order all supplies for the branch as needed

2.Open and close office by following established security procedures

3. Perform general secretarial/etc. duties as required

4. Balance cash vault as required and monitor cash needs for office

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent required
2. A minimum of one (1) year prior teller and/or banking experience preferred
3. Must be detail oriented and organized with excellent attention to detail
4. Superior customer service skills
5. Must possess a positive attitude
6. Familiarity with banking regulations and laws
