We Will Train You — Become a Pit Apprentice at Delta Blues BBQ

No experience needed — just a love for BBQ and a willingness to work hard!

Delta Blues BBQ is looking for a Pit Apprentice who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and learn the time-honored craft of real, slow-smoked barbecue — from Day One.

You don’t need kitchen experience.
You don’t need to know how to run a smoker.
We’ll teach you everything you need to know.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to build and manage a live fire
• How to prepare meats the traditional way
• How to operate smokers and control cook temperatures
• How to recognize perfectly smoked BBQ by look, feel, and taste
• How to work cleanly, efficiently, and safely in a kitchen

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong work ethic — someone who shows up on time and ready to work
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn every day
• The ability to work around heat and lift 50 lbs or more
• Flexibility — early mornings, weekends, and busy shifts
• Respect for the craft and pride in doing things the right way

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
