Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Marriott Hotel Front Desk Manager to lead our front desk team and ensure exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role is pivotal in managing daily operations, enhancing guest relations, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the front desk. Prior Opera Experience preferred. Salary is based off 45 hours per week. Shifts either 8am to5pm; 10pm-7pm or 3pm -12am; Weekends are required.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest inquiries.
- Manage night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with hotel policies.
- Train, mentor, and supervise front desk staff to deliver high-quality customer service and maintain hotel standards.
- Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Implement and uphold hotel policies regarding guest services, safety, and security.
- Monitor front desk performance metrics and develop strategies for improvement.
- Assist in managing room inventory and coordinating with housekeeping for room readiness.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles is required.
- Strong background in customer service with a focus on guest relations and services.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, including reservation systems and night audit processes.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
