Role: OTC Equity Confirmation [Analyst/Associate]

This is a great opportunity to join Delta Capita’s Structured Retail Products (SRP) Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

The SRP business is a rapidly growing division within Delta Capita offering a comprehensive range of services to support structured product manufacturers in a variety of areas including documentation drafting, automation, client onboarding, product governance, issuance support, and post-trade lifecycle management. Our team of experts and technology are leveraged by leading structured product manufacturers to transform their businesses, delivering efficient and scalable solutions.

This role will be part of our OTC Equity Confirmation team, supporting our investment banking clients OTC confirmation processes.

Requirements

• Client Relationship management. Supporting and managing client expectations. Chasing client for signed confirmations in a timely manner, resolving urgent issues, raising language issues to the relevant drafting regions.
• Sending across affirmation requests to clients and making sure trades are executed within the timelines.
• Understanding the end-to-end flow of the process and getting into contact with sales and trading, brokers, Middle Office, and settlement teams on a regular basis to resolve breaks raised by clients
• Deliver strategic projects to drive efficiency and enhanced controls.
• Manage other tasks assigned as demand dictates.

Skills and Experience Required

• 1-3 Years experience working with Equity Confirmations
• Understanding of the basic lifecycle of OTC products.
• Answering detailed queries on specific products including Equity Swaps, OTC Options, and Variance Swaps.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of internal confirmation records versus electronic platforms.
• Time management skills – is a better way to describe this, i.e. there is a lot of manual tasks spread across each person, so planning the day is critical.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
