ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Cheer at Events: Attend sports games, school events, and other events to support Delta College. Dance, wave, and get the crowd excited!
- Engage with the Crowd: Take photos with students, families, and fans. Be friendly and interactive, making sure everyone has a great time.
- Wear the Costume: Put on the Duck costume and stay in character. Be enthusiastic and energetic!
- Follow Directions: Listen to the instructions from event coordinators and follow them to make sure everything runs smoothly.
- Be a Team Player: Work well with other staff and volunteers to help make events successful.
Required Qualifications
- Outgoing Personality: You should love being around people and have a positive attitude.
- Good Physical Condition: The job involves a lot of moving around, dancing, and standing.
- Reliable and Punctual: Show up on time and be ready to work.
- No Fear of Performing: You should be comfortable performing in front of large groups of people.
- Must meet manufacturer standards to fit in the suit must be between 5’4” and 5’9” in height.
- Flexible: Work hours will vary depending on events. Must be available for evenings and weekends.
Additional Experiences Considered
- Prior experience with theater, cheerleading, or related experience
