The Business Analyst serves as liaison for the business unit and other units such as project management, Information Technology, Lending, Card & Payment Services, etc. to ensure the smooth transition of new products, services and / or processes for support within the business unit. This position monitors and analyzes business unit operations to ensure proper application of technology (including business intelligence) and support resources, and works within the business unit to identify, diagnose and solve complex business problems. Identifies and recommends process improvement opportunities. Additionally, this analyst position monitors projects and works in collaboration with the Strategic Research and Reporting (SRR) team as needed. The Business Analyst provides business unit support for centralized reporting processes. This position communicates regularly with the SRR team analysts, all levels of the organization, industry peers, service providers and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality service. This position is also responsible for requirements gathering and all business requirement documentation.
Essential Functions :

- Identifies and recommends process improvement opportunities.
- Monitors all organizational projects and works in collaboration with the SRR team analysts to ensure consistency and efficiency in project deliverables.
- Provide business unit support for centralized reporting processes.
- Communicates regularly with the SRR team analysts, all levels of the organization, industry peers, service providers and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality service.
- Responsible for requirements gathering and all business requirement documentation.
- Monitor performance metrics to optimize performance.
- Identifies, tracks and reports on key metrics.
- Develop strategies and tactical plans to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Responsible for Ad Hoc reporting.
- Ability to identify and break down business problems.
- Must be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
