Position Summary:
Delta Community Supports, Inc. is seeking an organized and efficient Office Manager with excellent communication skills. Reporting to the Regional Director of Community Living, this individual is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support company day-to-day operations and processes.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement office policies and procedures.
- Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of office data.
- Manage office staff, selecting, assigning, supporting, motivating and evaluating employee(s) with ongoing positive supervision.
- Maintain office services by determining supply needs and proactively placing orders.
- Complete and submit purchase requisitions as needed and in a timely manner.
- Distribute payroll, petty cash, employee expense checks and other payments as needed.
- Maintain various calendars, logs and records of various administrative activities and processes.
- Serve as point person for mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment and errands.
- Plan in-house or off-site activities such as conferences and celebrations.
- Answer telephone, refer callers to appropriate company personnel, take messages as needed, and provide preliminary answers to telephone inquiries.
- Greet and assist visiting staff and guests; provide general support as needed.
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- An associates degree or sixty (60) credit hours from an accredited university or college.
- Two (2) years administrative experience.
- One (1) year of management and supervisory experience.
- Valid drivers license in the state of residence.
- Ability to move around an office and buildings.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
