COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR
Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical, mechanical, general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Commercial Construction Estimator for our client in Sarasota, FL.
Estimator Compensation & Benefits :
Annual salary for the Estimator is $120,000 per year, and total compensation including benefits, allowances and bonus' far exceed the stated salary.

Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for various projects, including quantity assessments, detailed financial evaluations, itemized listings, and subcontractor summaries.
Collaborate with multiple internal departments and expand the network of subcontractors.
Develop accurate and timely project cost budgets using historical data, unit pricing, and proposals from subcontractors / vendors, in consultation with management.
Manage the distribution and handling of project plans and specifications as required.
Present and discuss budget summaries with the overseeing manager.
Keep pricing databases and estimation tools up-to-date and adjust prices according to market trends.
Inspect sites to verify conditions and integrate these findings into project estimates.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.
5 years of experience in commercial project estimation, ideally with experience in a construction or development firm.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively, with a self-motivated, team-oriented approach.
Excellent planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
