Position Overview and Summary
The Regional Director of Architecture and Placemaking will oversee the design and placemaking strategy for a diverse portfolio of retail, mixed-use, and hotel development projects. The candidate will bring expertise in site planning, placemaking, and architectural design, working closely with ownership and internal/external architectural teams to deliver high-quality, transformative spaces.
Regional Director of Architecture and Placemaking Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the architectural vision for retail, mixed-use, and hotel projects, aligning with the company's long-term goals.
- Placemaking Expertise: Implement site planning and placemaking strategies to create vibrant, engaging environments that enhance project value and user experience.
- Project Oversight: Manage all phases of design and construction from concept to completion, ensuring quality, aesthetics, and functionality.
- Collaboration with Ownership: Work with ownership to provide design updates and insights, aligning projects with the overall company strategy.
- Architectural Firm Management: Oversee relationships with external design firms, providing feedback and ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Partner with internal teams, including development, construction, leasing, and operations, to ensure cohesive project execution.
