Electrical Lead Estimator Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Electrical Lead Estimator in Detroit, MI is between $140,000 and $160,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Electrical Senior Estimator Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing assigned projects from start to completion
  • Will be required to read blueprints, review bid documents and specifications for accuracy / discrepancies
  • Responsible for performing complete take offs and participate in project turn over
  • Required to attend scope review meetings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized

    • Electrical Senior Estimator Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with an electrical contractor
  • Accubid- LiveCount software
  • Project experience to include commercial, institutional, healthcare, airports, power generation transmission and distribution, fire alarm, security systems.
  • Working knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost control
  • Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems
  • Ability to perform detailed work and successfully meet deadlines
  • Must have stable work history
  • Previous management or supervisory experience
  • Ability to travel to branches as needed

    • Preferred but Not Necessary

  • Journeyman License or Degree

    • Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
