Mechanical Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities
Provide support to a single large project or multiple projects being managed by Senior Project Managers and Project Engineers.We do self-performing work, so you'll need to work with craftsman, foreman and the owner.Help plan out projects from start to finish with an understanding of all the moving parts involved and what it takes to manage the process.You'll utilize your LEAN principles and have a keen understanding of what the owner wants and how we can deliver it.You'll play a key role in managing the financials and making sure the project stays on track.You'll get to mentor younger people and help prepare them for the next step in their profession in keeping with our core value “People.”Mechanical Project Manager Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.4 Years’ experience as a Project Manager managing Mechanical Design / Build Projects specific to healthcare projects.Experience overseeing on average $1M in Mechanical Budget individually while supporting & leading a team of Junior Project Management personnel.Must know how to execute a project successfully, track project production, and build good relationships with clients.Strong experience managing Mechanical (HVAC & Piping) Mission Critical & Manufacturing Construction projects with a Design / Build Mechanical Contractor.Preferred Design / Build and IPD Project Experience.Familiarity with Viewpoint Software (Plus), Microsoft Outlook, Bluebeam & Procore.Preferred but Not Necessary
