Mechanical Project Manager Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Mechanical Project Manager in Austin, TX is between $90,000 and $115,000.

Mechanical Project Manager Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support to a single large project or multiple projects being managed by Senior Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- We do self-performing work, so you'll need to work with craftsman, foreman and the owner.
- Help plan out projects from start to finish with an understanding of all the moving parts involved and what it takes to manage the process.
- You'll utilize your LEAN principles and have a keen understanding of what the owner wants and how we can deliver it.
- You'll play a key role in managing the financials and making sure the project stays on track.
- You'll get to mentor younger people and help prepare them for the next step in their profession in keeping with our core value “People.”
Mechanical Project Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
- 3 Years’ experience as a Project Manager managing Mechanical Design/Build Projects specific to healthcare projects.
- Experience overseeing on average $1M in Mechanical Budget individually while supporting & leading a team of Junior Project Management personnel.
- Must know how to execute a project successfully, track project production, and build good relationships with clients.
- Strong experience managing Mechanical (HVAC & Piping) Mission Critical & Manufacturing Construction projects with a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor.
- Preferred Design/Build and IPD Project Experience.
- Familiarity with Viewpoint Software (Plus), Microsoft Outlook, Bluebeam & Procore.
Preferred but Not Necessary
- LEED AP, CEM
