What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Manager position at Delta Constructors?
The Construction Manager oversees all aspects of managing construction projects to ensure each project reaches its completion and turnover. The incumbent will focus on the daily management of personnel, project readiness, pre-planning, mobilization, execution, and must ensure quality and cost standards are met within assigned timeframes. May also be involved with project feasibility and constructability phases of a project.

Essential Job Functions:
- Participates in pre-construction planning, including project scope, site assessments, site layout, and project details
- Maintains continuous communication throughout projects related to progress, issues, and solutions.
- Responsible to have appropriate materials at project site in a timely fashion to meet project deadlines
- Receives and verifies material shipment quantity and integrity
- Communicates and/or resolves shipping schedules/conflicts with vendors or operations manager
- Submits required project reports in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
- Approves purchase orders, inventory documents, and time sheets
- Actively engages in developing and monitoring budgets and schedules, and controlling costs for large projects with many complex features
- Performs and completes final inspection and documentation
- Prepares conceptual, preliminary and definitive estimates
- Develops and implements project scheduling standards and procedures
- Ensures that all project scheduling activities such as schedule development, updates, progress reporting, and recommendations for corrective action comply with company and client requirements
- Assists in the determination of project manpower requirements and prepares periodic forecasts of personnel utilization.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or relevant construction or project management, business administration or engineering degree is desired.
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Current OSHA 10 and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) certificates or be able to obtain upon hire
Work Experience:
- Ten (10) years experience with Construction Management
