Description:
The Material Coordinator reports directly to the General Superintendent and is responsible for receiving, inspecting, loading, rigging, controlling, expediting, and maintaining physical inventories for assigned project. The incumbent also directly supports and assists the on-site Client Supervisor on all facets of materials handling. A major function of this position is to generate procurement requisitions for on-site materials, tools, and consumables as needed.
Per Diem: $35 - $70 per day ($210 - $420 per week)
Schedule: 4 weeks ON 2 weeks OFF
- 60 hours per week (opportunity for more)
- 36 weeks ON and 17 weeks OFF (22% MORE TIME OFF!)

Essential Job Functions:
- Load/unload incoming/outgoing deliveries, properly securing all outgoing loads
- Receive, deliver and verify materials
- Inspect quality of materials received and before delivery
- Immediately report shortages and damaged materials
- Ensure passenger safety through safe driving techniques including, but not limited to, following all road signs and speed limit signs, and maintaining the general appearance of the shuttle bus throughout the day including light maintenance of the interior and exterior
- Keep vehicles and warehouse/storage areas safe, clean and in order
- Use small hand tools and operate material handling equipment
- Ability to learn and adhere to the Delta Constructors safety culture
- Other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or Equivalent
- Experience with oil field materials handling, warehousing and logistics
- Current and valid driver’s license, with clean driving record

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn contractor’s procurement software program Coupa
- Knowledge in conducting inventory check
- Good organizational and document management skills
- Good understanding of logistics and inventory function
- Knowledge of proper handling of materials and equipment use conducive to conditions and its use
- Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to materials and equipment use and operation
- Ability to use time efficiently to complete deliveries on time
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
- Ability to handle stress and possess positive attitude even in difficult or challenging situations
- Ability to attend training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by the department
