Position Summary:
The Marketing Graphic Designer is a key player in driving the growth of USCCA’s brand and marketing efforts through high-performing, conversion-focused design. This role requires a deep understanding of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), persuasive design, and strategic brand alignment to create marketing assets that are not only visually compelling but also drive measurable results.
We’re looking for a designer who can merge creativity with data, crafting engaging designs that enhance user experience, increase conversions, and maintain brand integrity across all channels. The ideal candidate has a portfolio of proven CRO-driven design successes andthrives in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for a seasoned creative designer motivated by outcomes, committed to data-driven design, and dedicated to helping as many people as possible protect themselves and their loved ones.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design high-converting sales pages, landing pages, email campaigns, paid social ads, and funnel assets that drive engagement and revenue.
- Continuously test, refine, and optimize design elements using A/B testing, heatmaps, and performance data.
- Develop user-focused, brand-aligned creative that enhances conversion rates while maintaining high aesthetic and brand consistency.
- Collaborate closely with marketing strategists, copywriters, and developers to create seamless user experiences.
- Think critically and analytically about design—every decision should be backed by data, strategy, and user behavior insights.
- Own the look, feel, and effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Stay ahead of trends in CRO, UX/UI, direct response marketing, and digital advertising to implement best practices.
- Use insights from Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and other tracking tools to inform design decisions.
- Work efficiently within deadlines, balancing speed and precision.
- Actively participate in creative brainstorming and performance reviews to continuously improve design impact.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proven experience in CRO-driven design, with measurable results in conversion optimization.
- 5 years of experience in marketing design, UI/UX, or direct response marketing (agency or in-house experience preferred).
- Expertise in landing page design, sales funnels, and high-performing ad creative for digital campaigns.
- Strong understanding of consumer psychology, user experience principles, and persuasive design.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, and wireframing tools.
- Familiarity with A/B testing platforms, web analytics, and conversion tracking tools.
- Strong typography, layout, and composition skills. Design should be effective, not just aesthetically pleasing.
- Experience in social ad design (Meta, YouTube, Google Display, etc.) with a focus on driving action.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-performance team.
- A passion for learning, testing, and improving designs based on real-world performance data.
- Understanding of firearms and self-defense culture is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
