Job Title: Senior Analytics Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our cross-functional team at Delta Defense, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical leadership and transforming raw data into business-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data pipelines that integrate complex data sources to create clean, tested, and reusable datasets for analysis.
- Ensure data quality by creating and maintaining data profiling methodologies.
- Establish standards for performing data transformations and adhere to rules and requirements for data formats and attributes.
- Collaborate with the Data Architecture team to ensure data model quality and consistency.
- Design scalable and reusable Enterprise Data Warehouse dimensional models.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science/Analytics, or equivalent experience).
- ~ 4 years of SQL experience.
- Significant experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Experience with Python and shell scripting is a plus.
- Experience with Agile development methods.
- Understanding of Tableau.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies such as S3, EMR.
- The ability to communicate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Dimensional Data modeling (star schemas).
