Primary Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements:
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, public relations, dental assisting, or dental hygiene, three years of experience in recruiting, customer service, sales, or a related field or three years of experience in chair side assisting. Two years of leadership experience preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Position requires advanced knowledge of dental terminology dental procedures and dental insurance products, as well as federal and state laws and regulations related to the dental insurance industry; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; strong analytical skills; the ability to present on behalf of the organization; a thorough knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and visual presentation applications; ability to analyze and solve complex problems using independent judgment.

Position Description:
Manages the development and implementation of strategies and best practices for the recruitment of participating dentists in the national dental communities for various Delta Dental government programs.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Develops recruitment strategy and recruitment plan for the various dental programs, as well as recruits and maintains participating dentists in these programs and logs all points of contact in SalesForce.
- Develops and maintains recruitment training manuals and provides training to field representatives.
- Obtains and assimilates competitor information and requests and analyzes reports to support recruitment efforts and determine recruitment needs.
- Oversees the development of recruitment strategies and materials for trade shows and represents the company by attending regional and national dental meetings, trade shows, student clinics at universities, and community functions to foster relationships with the dental community.
- Develops and presents dental office seminars to the regional dental communities and creates and conducts presentations for dental schools, community colleges, local dental society meetings, and board meetings.
- Visits participating and non-participating dentists to ensure understanding of the company’s programs and procedures in order to resolve claims processing problems.
- Interviews, hires, evaluates, manages, and develops staff in order to ensure accountability for achievement of department goals and objectives.
- Participates in the development and implementation of short and long-term departmental strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Develops, recommends, implements, and enforces policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards of operations.
