Serves as a liaison between business users and the technical organization by planning, conducting, and overseeing analysis of complex business problems to be solved with business rule automated systems.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements:
Position requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, data processing, or a related field and three years of experience identifying, organizing, analyzing, testing, communicating, and documenting business rules, system requirements, and process workflows Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
Position requires experience with the Agile methodology and experience with incident/support ticketing systems and process workflow; solid verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customer(s); the ability to review software changes and determine system impact; the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems using independent judgment; and the ability to function in a fast paced and active work environment.

Position Description
Serves as a liaison between business users and the technical organization by planning, conducting, and overseeing analysis of complex business problems to be solved with business rule automated systems.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Participates in requirements meetings with the customer in order to further understand their requests and business priorities.
- Assists in defining business requirements, analyzing potential gaps and impact, and implementing system changes.
- Follows departmental testing processes to create, document, and execute test cases and verify and report the results.
- Collaborates with the business and technical teams to validate and triage production questions and issues.
- Ensures the system design is cost-effective, efficient, and meets business requirements and customer needs.
- Administers quality control process for system edits, ensuring proper functioning within the system, and ensuring newly entered system changes and edits do not cause unanticipated adverse system events affecting TennCare’s claims, enrollees and providers.
- Seeks opportunities to enhance processes and address issues, aiming to provide greater value to the customer.
- May extract test data from databases by creating new, or altering existing, basic SQL queries. The data will be used for testing and verification of results.
