We are excited to announce our 2025 Summer Internship program!
Our summer internship program runs from Monday, June 9th, to Friday, August 1st. The program is hybrid, with in-office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and remote work on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and we provide all necessary equipment to help you succeed in your role.
As an intern, you will work on real business projects, gaining exposure to various aspects of the company and having the opportunity to make an impact. You will also connect with Delta Dental employees across different business functions, helping you expand your professional network. Throughout the eight-week program, we’ll assist with resume and LinkedIn profile development and provide you with a LinkedIn Learning license. Interns will meet weekly to share experiences and learn from our business leaders. At the end of the program, interns will have the chance to have lunch with Delta Dental’s CEO.
Interns will be compensated at a rate of $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience.

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Intelligence Intern to join our team. The intern will assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, visualization tools, and business intelligence solutions.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with DDNJ/CT BI (Business Intelligence) Team and Business Team as needed
- Work on providing solution to real DDNJ/CT Business Requests
- Complete Data Analysis tasks
- Working on creating vizualizations using BI tools for developing standard solutions to Business use cases.
- Document BI processes and create user guides for dashboards and tools.
- Hands-on experience with Data Analysis and BI tools.
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.
- A chance to work on impactful projects that directly influence business decisions.
- Networking opportunities within the industry.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI etc.
- Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Experience in conducting research via the Internet.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools is an advantage.
- Familiar with AI tools.
- A self-starter who is comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Team Player: ability to see the organization's big picture goals and contribute to day-to-day tasks.
- Undergraduate rising senior/Recent college graduate in the field of Computer Science/ Information Technology/Software Engineering/Information Systems
- Coursework or certifications in the field of Business Intelligence and Analytics (e.g., in SQL, Tableau, Python, Power BI) is a plus.
