We are excited to announce our 2025 Summer Internship program!
Our summer internship program runs from Monday, June 9th, to Friday, August 1st. The program is hybrid, with in-office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and remote work on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and we provide all necessary equipment to help you succeed in your role.
As an intern, you will work on real business projects, gaining exposure to various aspects of the company and having the opportunity to make an impact. You will also connect with Delta Dental employees across different business functions, helping you expand your professional network. Throughout the eight-week program, we’ll assist with resume and LinkedIn profile development and provide you with a LinkedIn Learning license. Interns will meet weekly to share experiences and learn from our business leaders. At the end of the program, interns will have the chance to have lunch with Delta Dental’s CEO.
Interns will be compensated at a rate of $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity to leverage knowledge gained from the classroom and apply it in a fast-paced, high-performing Project Management & Release Management team.
This internship will provide great insight into the workings of a Project Management Office (PMO)/Initiatives team. The intern will be assisting with activities designed to manage a portfolio of projects that align to the corporate strategy of the organization both for larger based Corporate Initiatives Projects and smaller Release Management based enhancements/defects.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Manage smaller deliverables associated with the execution of larger scale projects or smaller scaled enhancements/defects.
- Shadow Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand the day to day functions and responsibilities of each role.
- Partner with the AVP, PMO to understand the big picture of how to build a Project Portfolio that aligns to the Corporate Strategy while connecting to the work being done on a day to day basis within projects.
- Organize project artifacts and update documentation associated with PMO process execution within projects.
- Collaborate with technology, business partners and other departments throughout DDNJ/CT.
- Shadow, participate in training sessions, and otherwise engage with various different business areas including the completion of the standard Customer Service training classes.
Intern Learning and Development Opportunities

Experience, Education and Certifications Required
Minimum Experience/Education Required
Applicants must have a high school degree and must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at an accredited university, ideally with a major in business, or software or mechanical engineering or technology.
