In this key role, you will develop and execute innovative staffing strategies to identify and attract exceptional candidates, while also enhancing employee development programs that foster growth and retention across the company. You'll work closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to ensure we are building a pipeline of skilled professionals who can drive the company forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Staffing & Recruitment
Develop comprehensive staffing strategies and plans to identify talent both internally and externally, ensuring the best talent is sourced for all levels within the organization.
Work closely with hiring department heads to align staffing needs with budget and growth goals.Onboarding & Retention
Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, from pre-screening candidates to conducting employment verifications and background checks.
Work to retain high-performing employees and ensure smooth transitions for new hires.Talent Sourcing & Technology Expertise
Leverage deep knowledge of digital platforms, job boards, recruitment marketing, and networking to identify top talent.
Utilize advanced recruitment technology, such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS, to streamline the hiring process.Employer Branding & Data-Driven Recruitment
Strengthen our employer brand and build our reputation as a top employer in the industry.
Use metrics and analytics to assess and continuously improve the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies.Compliance & Legal Knowledge
Ensure compliance with labor laws, Equal Employment Opportunity regulations, Affirmative Action, and other applicable standards.Employee Development & Leadership Training
Design and implement customized learning programs aligned with business strategy.
Drive leadership training and career progression initiatives that foster internal talent growth.Change Management & Strategic Alignment
Lead talent development initiatives through organizational transformations or periods of growth.
Align recruitment and development efforts with broader organizational goals to ensure cohesive growth.Collaboration & Relationship-Building
Partner with senior leadership, other departments, and external stakeholders to fill open positions and develop high-potential internal talent.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in recruitment strategies, with strong knowledge of digital recruitment platforms and technologies.
- Experience in creating and managing talent development programs, leadership training, and career progression initiatives.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and delivery tools (e.g., e-learning, virtual training, LinkedIn Learning).
- Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align recruitment and development initiatives with the organization’s business goals.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills, particularly when working with senior leadership.
- Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics to assess effectiveness and make informed decisions.
- 7 years of progressive HR/Talent Acquisition experience
- PHR/SPHR, SHRM CP strongly preferred
- BS/Masters in Organizational Psychology/other related education strongly preferred
