The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $46,575.00 – $62,963.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $45,083.00 - $60,946.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

- Develop and coordinate Dental Career Discovery workshop schedule
- Facilitate and coordinate pre and post workshop survey’s to participates
- Input, update, and analyze program evaluation tool
- Engage new partners in the community for future collaboration.
- Represent DDWA in the communities and with our partners across Washington
- Coordinate on site workshop events, including manage volunteers and contractor, setup/take-down, adhere to agenda timeline, and facilitate activities
- Promote all program elements such as Mentorship program to ensure workshop participants have access to all resources offered in our program
- Manage and recruit volunteers and work with the program manager to ensure they are set up as a vendor (for optional stipend) and have obtained a background check
- Coordinate with program manager and work with accounts payable to submit check request forms
- Coordinate and track all registered dental assistant applications and work with program manager to submit a check request to pay application fee
- Coordinate with Department of Health to ensure applications are processed and applicants have received their RDA license
- Work with executive assistant and marketing team on workshop schedule and other community event visibility
- Support current and new workforce development program elements, as needed
Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- Dental professional training (any level) or 2 years of experience working within a dental clinic or practice in a non-clinical capacity or relevant experience.
- BA or AA degree preferred or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
- Experience with diversity and inclusion, with an understanding of barriers faced by underrepresented populations.
- Strong cultural humility/DEI/anti-racism training or lived experience, enabling engagement and trust-building with BIPOC dental professionals and communities.
- Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse teams, fostering a culture of allyship and inclusivity.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and the drive to empower partners through various channels.
- Ability to manage complex partnerships and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience in program or project coordination, including timeline execution, task accountability, and adapting to changing environments.
- Prior experience coordinating and ability to execute assigned tasks with a team of contractors, volunteers or employees, preferred.
- Spanish language abilities are a plus.
- Current WA State driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
