We have added an opportunity to join the executive team at Delta Dental of Wisconsin as our Vice President, Business Technology. In this Vice President role, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic decisions that bridge business objectives and technology. This role provides oversight of technology services received by various partners/vendors while also developing and ensuring execution of an internal technology roadmap.
Reporting to the Chief Analytics and Strategy Officer, this role will be expected to:
- Oversee the development and execution of a technology roadmap that aligns with our business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to understand business goals and challenges and how technology offers and/or supports potential solutions.
- Engage with business units to understand/translate business requirements and technology related needs into technology solutions, ensuring alignment with our vision.
- Responsible for overseeing and leveraging our third-party technology vendors to support business requirement prioritization, innovation, and the exploration of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, blockchain) so we can deliver on our business objectives.
- Partner with internal and external SMEs to identify and implement a blend of best practices and technology solutions for core capabilities in areas including, but not limited to: Broker management, Member enrollment, Group management, Sales, Broker payment, Marketing and Member management.
- Serve as a point of escalation for the organization for information technology related concerns.
- Collaborate with other Delta Dental member companies on best practices, collaborating with existing DDWI cross-functional Technology platforms and escalation to C-Suite as needed.
- Oversee outsourced technology vendor relationships, ensuring contractual compliance and timely delivery.
- Partner with technology vendors to plan and prioritize technology service delivery objectives.
- Monitor/manage service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators for technology vendors.
- Ensure DDWI’s technology enables leveraging data analytics to gain insights into customer behavior and market trends.
- Support the optimization of our digital channels for engagement and conversion.
