We're seeking a Senior National Accounts Manager with a knack for strategic thinking and a talent for building lasting partnerships.ResponsibilitiesRevenue Growth : Drive revenue growth through thoughtful upsells and retention strategies, focusing on financial gains at renewalPortfolio Management : Proactively manage a portfolio of large, high-value, complex national accounts, balancing client needs with business goalsRenewal Strategy : Design renewal strategies and rate recommendations based on financial analysis, aiming for solutions that benefit all partiesPipeline Oversight : Forecast revenue growth opportunities over a 3-5-year period, identifying and capitalizing on potential avenues for successAnalytical Skills : Lead deal tactics using comprehensive market knowledge, collaborating with cross-functional peers to drive resultsPartnership Building : Foster impactful partnerships with clients and brokers, enhancing outcomes through effective communication and collaborationCustomer Advocacy : Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional customer experiences by resolving concerns and facilitating solutionsTeam Leadership : Serve as a mentor and / or peer coach and lead cross functional teams on select projects and workstreamsQualifications4 years of experience in employee benefits with a bachelor's degree. Experience in lieu of degree will be consideredSophisticated business math and complex analytical skills with the ability to position financial outcomes that contribute to revenue goals across assigned portfolioExcellent consultative selling and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision makers associated with high-value, complex customersStrong time management skills and experience with simultaneously managing overlapping projects under tight deadlinesAbility to meet specific deliverables within an environment of tight deadlines and considerable pressureCapable of frequently working independently, demonstrated resourcefulness and requiring little guidanceOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbal with special emphasis in formal business presentationsAbility to effectively communicate with others, of all levels in the organization, in a collaborative environmentAdvanced problem-solving skills with ability to work cross-functionally to resolve complex issues and generate resultsOutstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills35% travel including overnight. Use of personal car and ability to sustain expenses until reimbursedProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and CRM (Salesforce)Reside in Northern California in one of the following cities or their surrounding areas : San Francisco, Oakland, Rancho Cordova, SacramentoAbility to travel by car and air. Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to successfully complete a motor vehicle record check. The person in this role will need to purchase and maintain a $250,000 / $500,000 collision damage liability insurance policy for the vehicle which they will receive the company allowanceLicenses : Active CA State life and health producer license or ability to obtain this license within 90 days of employment is required; must maintain license through completing continuing education requirementsActive Driver License, valid and in-stateBase Pay InformationThe national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications.
