This position is a hybrid role that requires two days in the office per week, however, may change based upon the needs of the organization.
Compensation: This position is exempt, and the salary range is $63,315-$83,595 annually plus is eligible to participate in our Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
Position Requirements:
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with an associate’s degree in business administration, sales or healthcare administration or other related field or a combination of relevant experience and education is required is required, bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of prior experience in a sales and/or benefits related role required.
- Active Colorado producer license or the ability to attain license within six months of start date is required.

- Well-developed ability to build and maintain relationships with various delivery channels and clients.
- Strong proficiency in customer service, including the ability to effectively address client needs, resolve issues, and provide a positive and supportive experience.

Essential Functions:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our dental insurance products, coverage options, pricing structures, and benefits. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate product differentiators.
- Engage with prospective individual brokers through various channels, including phone and email. Employ a consultative approach to identify customer needs and provide tailored recommendations based on their oral health requirements and budget constraints.
- Educate brokers about dental insurance concepts, terms, and processes. Explain coverage details, network providers, claims procedures, and any additional information to ensure customers have a clear understanding of their chosen insurance plan.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to ascertain the specific dental care needs of the brokers. Use this information to offer appropriate coverage solutions that address their dental health concerns effectively.
- Establish strong rapport and trust with brokers by providing exceptional service and demonstrating genuine care. Foster long-lasting relationships to encourage broker and customer loyalty and retention.
- Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets by effectively conveying the value of our dental insurance products to potential customers and brokers. Utilize persuasive communication skills to convert leads into satisfied policyholders and stakeholders.
- Accurately record broker and customer interactions, recommendations, and sales-related information in our CRM system. Maintain detailed and organized records for future reference and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, underwriting, and the Small Business and Individual Unit to ensure a seamless broker and customer experience throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Foster a working relationship with Wyssta and Encara to ensure current policy holders, future customers, and our brokers are taken care of for both on and off exchange products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized guidance.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive the success of dental insurance offerings. Identify growth opportunities and formulate plans to achieve organizational objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape. Use this information to effectively communicate product differentiators and make informed decisions.
- Prepare and deliver targeted client proposals that address specific needs and showcase the value of dental insurance products.
- Analyze benefit plan designs and costs to provide clients with the best options that align with their needs and financial considerations.
- Utilize independent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to address client needs, resolve issues, and improve processes.
- Recognize and articulate opportunities for process improvement. Implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
