Job Summary :
Join our Critical Facilities team as a Project Engineer, where you'll play a central role in delivering high-impact projects in building automation and energy management. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, programming, and optimizing building control systems that meet energy codes and sustainability goals. Using project specifications and contract documents, you’ll create and implement solutions that ensure system efficiency, reliability, and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze system performance at a comprehensive level, including entire systems and campus-wide networks, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Conduct detailed performance analysis of building controls and mechanical systems to identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Develop project-specific programming solutions to enhance building performance and meet customer requirements.
- Design custom user interfaces for end-users to interact with building control systems.
- Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure alignment and project success.
- Program complex DDC (Direct Digital Controls) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) systems, adapting them to project specifications and mechanical system requirements.
- Track project financials through regular audits and project reviews, developing insights into project budgets and performance.
- Contribute to the evolution of company standards and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives.
