Essential Position Responsibilities :
The Senior System Engineer is a technical expert who designs, develops, implements, and operates infrastructure solutions for complex systems in large global and multi-office enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, security, cloud services, and data centers.
Additional responsibilities are to include however not limited to the following :
- Responsible for the installation and configuration of new software, hardware, and cloud services
- Responsible for managing open-source solutions
- Responsible for managing automation tools.
- Responsible for monitoring system performance, system operations, and storage utilization.
- Plans for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.
- Provide support with escalated helpdesk requests.
- Leads a team of systems administrators, and coordinates with different departments.
- Leads team of helpdesk support engineers
- Mentors team members and educates users.
- Maintain strong technical documentation
- Implement, operate, and maintain company security standard
- Supporting automation initiatives
- Flexibility to work with Asia / Brazil Time zones
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Job Requirements : Education :
BS degree in computer science or related field
Current VMWare or Microsoft Certification desired
Experience :
9~12 years of experience working in the information technology sector
