What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automated Fuel Technician position at DELTA FUEL COMPANY INC?
Description
As a Frac Fuel Technician you will have the ability to work hand in hand with some of the best co-workers and managers in the frac fueling industry. Frac Fuel Technician’s work with our patented Delta Direct fueling systems with state-of-the- art reporting and systems monitoring software.
• Operate in accordance with company policy and procedures
• Accurately complete all routine checklists and daily documentation
• Respectfully working with other employees, 3rd party contractors, and customers
• Rigging up and rigging down our equipment on frac sites
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment with trained maintenance personnel.
• Checking on site fuel levels in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Reading and understanding all SOP’s and supporting documentation to effectively track and monitor all equipment, routine, and non-routine daily tasks.
• Operating a DCS style control system to monitor fuel specific flow conditions and statuses.
• Communicating with other 3rd party contractors on an hourly basis with updates and status reports.
• Communicating with our dispatch team to effectively coordinate the fuel deliveries while on site multiple times per shift.
• Working seamlessly with all team members of on and off site to provide the superior service Delta Fuel Prides itself on.
• Be available for out-of-town fuel jobs
Schedule:
12-14 Hour Shifts days/nights
Requirements
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, reference checks, drug screen, and criminal background check
• Ability to routinely lift 50 – 100 pounds
• Ability to safely climb ladders and walk on top of truck tanks
• Able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions: extreme wind, snow, rain, heat and cold
QUALIFICATIONS/POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Hazmat Endorsement
• Tankers Endorsement
• Twic card
• Must be able to speak English
• Prior oilfield or plant experience
• Strong mechanical inclination
• Ability to understand advanced process flows
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to work a rotating shift (Days and/or Nights)
• Able to communicate effectively with others
• Must be punctual, disciplined, and talented at time management
