A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the transportation, delivery, and distribution of various products to various locations while ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety regulations. This role is responsible for customer service, coordinating & managing logistics company-wide & overseeing drivers' day-to-day operations. This position will act as the point of contact for customers and / or sales while managing all aspects of the order from creation to completion. The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role at Delta 360, in maintaining an efficient and compliant distribution system, ensuring that operations run smoothly, and that fuel / oil is delivered reliably to customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate Fuel / Oil Deliveries :
Schedule and arrange fuel / oil deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of products.
Track and monitor inventory levels at various storage sites or fueling stations.
Adhere to environmental, safety, and transportation regulations regarding the handling and transportation of fuel.
Track shipments and deliveries using GPS and logistics management software.
Communicate with customers and / or sales to confirm orders, delivery windows, and any special requirements.
Maintain accurate records of fuel / oil deliveries, inventory levels, and any discrepancies.
Address any logistical issues, such as delayed shipments, misrouted deliveries, or damaged goods.
Requirements :
Familiarity with fuel / Oil products, transportation logistics, and related regulations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with customers, vendors, and internal teams
