SUMMARY OF POSITION :
The Processing Lead (Picking, Packing, and Replenishment) must have a strong skill set in the following daily business needs : ensure efficient functioning of the picking and packing, answer order processing questions, direct team work assignments, convey (written & verbal) communications (within and outside) the department, maintain good housekeeping and safety practices and standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Supervise and coordinate the activities for picking (both RF and by autonomous robot) and packing team, up to 18 associates
- Plan, reassess, and prioritize tasks for the team to ensure optimal productivity and to meet daily goals / duties.
- Review and prepare reporting daily on workload, productivity metrics, risks and order fulfilment
- Create, Monitor, and Enforce compliance with SOPs to maintain quality and accuracy of orders
- Coordinate with departments such as planners, inventory, shipping and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely order processing. Prioritize, rearranging tasks / orders to ensure the team’s productivity and use of appropriate time
- Identify areas for improvement and implement efficient practices to enhance productivity, time, and costs
- Keep management informed of operations, opportunities, including any safety or process issues
- Candidate must have strong communication, email etiquette and personnel skills
- Train and develop team members on proper procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
- Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, accept and provide constructive feedback to associates
