What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Delta Group Electronics, Inc.?
Essential Duties:
- Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees.
- Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Manages schedules of employees, deliveries, and shipments to optimize operations.
- Communicates with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues.
- Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients.
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of Inventory & supply chain logistics.
- Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
- Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management.
- Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory employees.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Committed to working a Weekend Supervisor’s Rota (once per month)
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manages 2-10 subordinate employees in the Shipping/Receiving and Inventory departments.
- Works closely with other department Management.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Language Skills
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position.
Mathematical Skills
An ability to understand basic mathematics is essential.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.
Computer Skills
Must be able to navigate standard ERP (Experience with Sage preferred) and Microsoft Software programs (proficient to intermediate standard preferred)

Salary : $36,000 - $45,600
