The Special Investigation Unit of Delta Group investigates and identifies questionable and suspicious claims for our partners, communicating with claims personnel, insurance carrier SIU staff, law enforcement, and government regulatory agencies to identify, prevent and deter fraud.
Job Duties:
- The position requires a keen ability to review claims, policy applications and underwriting audits and determine if they meet the threshold for referral to various state fraud bureaus; strong background in premium fraud investigations.
- The position will work with claims adjusters, SIU field investigators, law enforcement and fraud bureaus.

Educational Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years SIU experience at an insurance carrier or in support of a carrier’s SIU with a heavy concentration in premium fraud.
- Strong background in workers compensation claims investigations.
- Strong background in automobile claims investigations.
CIFI, CFE, FCLS or FCLA is preferred
Location: Remote
Pay Band: $35 - $40 an hour, no mileage, no travel time.
The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity.
