Delta Health System - Oncology Clinic (Clarksdale) Billing Clerk

Responsible for compiling itemized hospital bills, verifying patient insurance coverage and computing patient insurance benefits
High school graduate or equivalent, some college level studies preferred.
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
Works closely with the Admitting Office, Medical Records, and physicians' office staff. 
Denial follow up required
Current knowledge of regulatory and industry issues effecting medical billing including but not limited to Medicare and Medicaid requirements regarding filing of claims
