What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dialysis - Patient Care Technician position at Delta Health System - The Medical Center?
The Patient Care Technician is responsible for assisting and support the unit management team in achieving quality, patient satisfaction, staff development, and business management as appropriate, teamwork, culture and employee satisfaction
High school diploma or equivalent.
Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years dialysis experience preferred.
Reprocessing experience, including equipment repair and maintenance desirable.
Successful completion of training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis; or state license or registration as required.
Valid driver’s license and insurance, if travel by car needed for company business.
Computer knowledge desirable.
Successful completion of current BLS healthcare recognition.
