The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care. As an integral member of our Outpatient Therapies and Sports Performance clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, and help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their quality of life.
- Implement a variety of interventions, including manual arts and crafts, prevocational, vocational, and homemaking skills, activities of daily living, and sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and participate in discharge planning to ensure successful transitions.
Requirements:
- A valid registration certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Possession of an Occupational Therapy License issued by the state of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
- Previous experience in occupational therapy preferred.
