Description
Maintains the surgical / endoscope schedule with notification to appropriate departments and physicians regarding the schedule. Acts as support person for PACU and Surgery.
Position Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the scheduling of surgical / endoscope / epidural injection cases on a daily basis
- Changes and updates schedules daily
- Notifies department manager, staff and other pertinent departments as changes occur with schedule
- Enters C- Arm orders.
- Coordinates pathology scheduling.
- Coordinates scheduling pre-op visits with physician offices
- Records all surgeries in register
- Performs daily OR secretarial duties which include answering phones, patient charges, and entering statistical data on computer, distributing OR schedules to designated areas.
- Distributes monthly call sheet with name of call crew to appropriate departments
- Is flexible regarding daily duties.
