As a Maintenance Helper at Delta Industries, Inc., you will be an integral part of our operations team, ensuring the smooth functioning of our manufacturing facility. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency in concrete production.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks across the manufacturing facility to ensure equipment reliability.
- Support skilled tradespeople in performing repairs and maintenance on machinery and systems.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to industrial maintenance and safety practices.
- Assist with welding and fabrication tasks as needed under supervision.
- Operate scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance tasks at heights.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks effectively under supervision.
- Understanding of safety regulations related to manufacturing facilities.
- Good communication skills in English for effective teamwork and reporting.
- Experience with welding or fabrication is a plus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn about HVAC/R systems and other mechanical systems as needed.
