Some Key Responsibilities Include The Following
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of corporate processes and experience in information technology to develop streamlined and automated solutions for current processes.
- Research and identify capabilities of existing software platforms to address unmet needs.
- Support and manage implementation projects through all aspects of the project lifecycle, including the testing, rollout and training.
- Use considerable experience and an in-depth understanding of system integration to ensure that new systems and modules work in harmony with existing applications.
- Complete complex work assignments that are multi-disciplinary, multi-application-oriented, and require new and unique approaches with a varied group of users, including all levels of operations and corporate management.
- Collaborate with corporate, IT and operating teams to identify needs, evaluate vendors and recommend solutions for implementation.
- Develop training material related to new and existing applications.
- Analyze and test new functionality in releases to determine application viability and integrity.
- Provide data management and analysis when appropriate.
- Maintain appropriate system documentation and audits.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding status, timelines and milestones of projects.
- Collaborate with technical IT team to facilitate successful setup, testing and implementation.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management and software implementation involving core corporate systems and processes, including projects involving accounting, HR or similar functions.
- Background check required.
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP software and document management systems (e.g., OnBase).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and data.
- Working understanding of basic accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., Birst, Cognos, Power BI) is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry-specific ERP solutions (e.g., CommandAlkon or Sysdyne products) is advantageous.
- Project leadership, project management skills and methodologies and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
