We are a fast-growing junk removal company dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients. Our mission is to create a clutter-free environment for our customers by efficiently removing unwanted items and debris. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in our day-to-day operations.
Job Summary:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of our junk removal business. Your primary duties will include handling administrative tasks, managing office operations, assisting the management team, coordinating schedules, and maintaining effective communication with clients and team members. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
2. Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and maintain calendars for the management team.
3. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
4. Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
5. Coordinate and manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
6. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process by scheduling interviews and facilitating new employee orientation.
7. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
8. Collaborate with the operations team to optimize scheduling and ensure efficient junk removal services.
9. Support the billing and invoicing process, including data entry and reconciliation.
10. Assist in marketing efforts, including social media management and online listings.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an administrative assistant or secretarial training is a plus.
2. Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other administrative tools.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
6. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Customer-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor.
9. Knowledge of junk removal industry or related field is preferable but not mandatory.
10. Valid driver's license and ability to occasionally assist with on-site operations.
